A. as you know there are several treatments for acne scars, and the best treatment for your own particular skin and scarring pattern is very individual. This is why a consultation is so important. You can see your GP, you can see me or you can see whichever type of doctor you would like to have a look at you to give you their opinion. Often different doctors will see the same problem and recommend different things and this is where the art of medicine and surgery mixes with some of the science we have in the field.
