Q. I would love to have fat taken from my lower tummy and injected into upper breast chest area. I wonder if this could be done as I have heard this is being trialed in Japan.
A. Removal of fat from your lower tummy is called liposuction. Fat injection for breast enlargement is called fat grafting. Liposuction is a well recognized procedure and I do very commonly in my practice. Fat grafting for breast enlargement is a relatively new procedure and I do no do in my practice.
