Q. Im am new to the idea of surgery but would like to be examined for breast asymmetry surgery. I am very confused about the idea of having surgery and think a consultation is the only way forward to at least find out. How long do we have in the consultation as I have a lot of questions? Would the cost of the consultation be added to the prices of surgery if I went ahead?
A. Hi there. I usually spend 30 minutes during the initial consultation for someone wishing to talk about cosmetic surgery. This includes the time to ask you questions, for me to examine you and for us to discuss what we can hope to achieve from the surgery, and how we’re going to achieve that. If you need a second consultation once you’ve had a think about things, then that consultation is usually free, and you can have another 15 or 30 minutes when you book for a second consultation. At the consultation we usually discuss options, so a second consultation is quite useful in some people. The consultation fees are £100 and this is not taken off the cost of surgery, unless you want to think of the cost of surgery being £100 more than the prices that I’ve listed on line at http://www.labelleforme.co.uk/cosmetic_surgery_prices.html.
