Q. Is it possible to have tattoo removal done on my breast at the same time as having a breast reduction? The tattoo is fairly small inside the cleavage, and I deeply regret getting it because I was so young. If I get the breast reduction I don’t want it to be cut in half and to be still stuck with half of it. I would like it to be completely removed as it sagged along with my breasts.

A. it depends on exactly where the tattoo is on the breast as to whether it would be included in the skin excision part of the breast reduction. However most tattoos are placed in prominent positions and most scars for breast reductions are placed in hidden positions. The only way to know for sure is to show it to a plastic surgeon, I’m afraid.
