Is it safe to have cosmetic treatments (filler and botox) after a dermaroller treatment

Q. Hi Dr, I have a quick question if that is okay. Is it safe to have cosmetic treatments (filler and botox) after a dermaroller treatment, but when the skin has calmed, 3 days approx? If not what would be the risks? Kind regards

A. If the skin has completely settled then it should be ok to have dermal fillers, though we often wait a week or two. it also depends on the depth of the dermaroller used

  2. A dermaroller treatment will make tiny perforations in the skin surface which in turn stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. The skin will need to be completely healed prior to any further treatment, which should take approximately one week.
