My inner labia protrude out from my outer labia
Q. My inner labia protrude out from my outer labia. I have grown very conscious of this and it has made me very shy. I would like to get labia reduction surgery, but I am afraid of what it will look like after. Does it hurt, and how long will it take to recover?
A. Thanks. I do appreciate your concerns. You should benefit from a consultation to discuss this and be examined. You will also have the opportunity to review several before and after photos, some of which might resemble your features, on which basis you may have an idea of what yours is likely to look like, after the surgery. The painkillers given after surgery are usually more than enough to cover most pain. You will be able to go home on the same day, and should be up and about within a couple of days. A week is plenty of time, to get you on your way, but the stitches can take between 2-6 weeks to dissolve
