Do you offer either smart lipo or Ultrashape liposuction and what is the more effective procedure?

Q. Do you offer either smart lipo or Ultrashape liposuction and what is the more effective procedure? I was just about to book to have Smart Lipo but then read about Ultrashape which was rated as the better treatment to have. I a little confused by the whole thing now hence my enqury. Thanks

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry,  the answer is no we do not perform Ultrashape or Smart Lipo but we do have a specialist doctor who concentrates on Vaser Liposuction. This is a more modern type of Liposuction and is very effective at removing areas of fatty tissue which you dislike. For more information about Vaser Liposuction please visit our website  http://aurora-clinics.co.uk if you feel you would like to schedule a consultation with our specialist doctor chambers please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362. I have a prominant chin and underbite. This affecting me mentally and potentially physically in the future.

Q. I have a prominant chin and underbite. This affecting me mentally and potentially physically in the future. What is an average price for corrective surgery?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, it does sounds as if it would be possible to correct your underbite and this often involves surgery to the jaw itself. Aurora-Clinics would not we perform this type of surgery as it is generally performed by maxillo-facial surgeons. I think it would be worthwhile scheduling a consultation with a maxillo-facial specialist in hospital near you and they will be able to discuss the best way forward with different options available. Many thanks for your enquiry, we do look forward to meeting you so I do wish you the best of luck if you do decide to go ahead with treatment. Q. Hello, How easy would it be to have a problem with my nose looked at as I have had an accident some time ago leaving it out of shape?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, it’s certainly is possible to perform rhinoplasty procedure to correct the shape of your nose and this is relatively a straight forward procedure and we have a number of surgeons here at Aurora Clinics who specialize in this form of treatment. I think it would be worthwhile having a look at our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk  to get an idea of the types of treatments that are available and if you feel you would like to schedule a consultation to discuss the best option for you please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362. I am generally happy with my shape of my body but my problem is that I have lumpy cellulite in my lower buttock area

Q. I am generally happy with my shape of my body but my problem is that I have lumpy cellulite in my lower buttock area, which seems to have worsened with my recent weight loss. Can you tell me if liposuction is generally used for this type of problem?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, cellulite is a difficult problem to treat and is often helped by liposuction. Liposuction generally remove the prominent areas but is not effective against cellulite. These are very long used to lose the weight and I think the sensible thing to do would be to schedule a consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss the best way forward in your case. You could schedule a consultation with one of our specialists by ringing 01844-214362 and we’ll be delighted to see you to discuss the best way forward for you. Can Perlane dermal fillers be used under the eye area?

Q. Can Perlane dermal fillers be used under the eye area? I ask because the information I have read so far states that the Perlane fillers lost longer than any other. I await your response.

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, generally it’s best not to use perlane under the eyes as it is quite a firm filler and most practitioners would recommend a softer filler such as restylane or juvederm in this area. Treatment is certainly possible to this area and if you feel you would like to schedule a consultation to discuss the best way forward for you please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362. In the mean time, I think it would be worthwhile having a look at our website  http://aurora-clinics.co.uk which has lots of information about different types of dermal fillers and the areas they can be treated. I had a anchor lift with implants and my areola was made smaller and my nipples are not really round

Q. I had a anchor lift with implants and my areola was made smaller and my nipples are not really round they are kind of long looking will they change I know the implants settle after a couple months will my nipple get rounder.

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, unfortunately it is relatively common for the areolas not to be completely round following breast uplift by on procedure. The areolas can be reduced in diameter and also made more round with further surgery which can sometimes be performed under local anesthetic. Overall, I’d generally advice you to wait atleast a year following your operation to allow the scarring and size and shape of the areola to fully settle prior to considering further surgery. If at this stage you felt you may wish to discuss surgery to make the areolas rounder please schedule a free consultation with one of our surgeons by ringing us on 01844-214362. If you’re not too squeamish, I have a video of myself performing a areola reduction procedure which is available in our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk. It might be worthwhile having a look at this video which will give you a good idea of what’s involved in the operation. Thank you very much for your enquiry, we do look forward to meeting you in the near future if you decide to schedule a consultation. I want to get a chemical peel and i went to harley medical the amount was 595 pounds and in cosmetics uk

Q. I want to get a chemical peel and i went to harley medical the amount was 595 pounds and in cosmetics uk clinic the amount is abt 300 pounds whihc one is safer and whihc one shuld i go for plus cosmetic uk uses dermaroller and harley uses obagi looking forward to hearing frm u thnks t

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, whether your skin would be best treated with chemical peels, dermal roller, or obagi really depends on your skin type and what concerns you. Skin peels do vary very weak peels to deep kelloid, the deeper skin giving a more long lasting result with the downside of more downtime following the treatment. I think it would be best to have a overall discussion with your specialists about the pros and cons and likely results following each type of treatment prior to deciding which one you would like to proceed with. We would be delighted to see you in one of our clinics for free consultation to discuss which would be the best treatment for you and you could schedule an appointment by ringing us on 01844-214362. In the mean time, it maybe worthwhile having a look at our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk where you’ll find lots of information about the different types of skin treatments available for you. I have a large amount of excess skin I would like removed after a large amount of weight loss

Q. I have a large amount of excess skin I would like removed after a large amount of weight loss. The skin is mainly around my stomach, hips and underarms and on investigation I have been told I may need to have a tuimmy tuck as well as liposuction. This price for this treatment is rather high and I have looked at going international for the surgery to reduce cost but im really not sure this is a good idea or wherther this will save any money in the long run anyway. Do you have any experience of people having surgery abroad?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, it does sounds as if you would benefit from removal of the excess skin and the possible liposuction to any remaining areas of fatty tissue. We do specialize in this form of treatment and I think it maybe worthwhile scheduling a consultation with one of our specialist’s surgeons to discuss the best options for you. You can find out more information about what’s involved in the procedures by looking at our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk and you can schedule a consultation by talking to one of our patient care advisers on 01844-214362. I personally have experience on surgery abroad and I have seen many of our patients who have had significant complications when they have been treated abroad mainly because their follow up after the operation was not efficient due to the distance required for consultations. I generally advice you to thoroughly research the subject prior to making any forms of decisions to go ahead and I think the good word starting with us would be a free consultation with one of our surgeons. Many thanks for your enquiry, we do look forward to meeting you in person in the near future. There is a slightly oblique smooth scar roughly four cm long and half a cm wide. Can it be fixed ?

Q. I had a hernia operation in my groin when I was three/four and I have always hated it. There is a slightly oblique smooth scar roughly four cm long and half a cm wide. Can it be fixed ?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, it does sounds as if the scar can be improved with further surgery. Surgery aims at in making the scar flat as in some cases it can be depressed from the normal level of the skin. It’s important to remember that you will later have a scar in the area and the aim of the surgery is to replace your existing scar with a neater finer scar which should be less noticeable. If you feel you would like to schedule a free consultation with one of our specialist surgeons please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362. One of our patient coordinators would be delighted to see you to discuss the best time for your free appointment. In the mean time, it might be worthwhile looking at our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk where you see a number of our videos, I’ll be discussing the different types of scars and how they can be treated.
