Q. I am interested in fat removal options to my upper legs and bum. Q. Would thermage treatment work for saggy skin around the top of a persons legs. Is there a reason I cant find a surgeon that does this treatment, is this because its not particularly effective?!?! What is a good alternative to thermage for this area of the body?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry. Unfortunately, thermage treatment in my experience is not 100% reliable in improving side of skin around the top of the person’s legs. It does tighten up skin in some areas but this is slightly variable. Q. Im 43 non smoker and in good health. I would like to know what is expected recovery period when having areola reduction surgery for someone my age?

The recovery period in non-smoker at 43 is very similar to younger patient and I would anticipate that in the end you would experience mild discomfort for the first few days following surgery. The stitches used to suture the areola are absorbable and this would be trimmed one week following surgery and it’s always tight and light micropore dressing will be applied. Q. Im I correct in saying that ptosis correction & asian eyelid revision surgery is possible in a single procedure?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, yes you were right that correction of Asian eyelids and ptosis correction is possible to achieve in one operation. With the ptosis correction the aim is to slightly shorten the muscle in the eyelid to raise the level of the eyelid margin. With the correction of the Asian eye the aim is to correct the fold in the upper part of the eyelid to give a more defined crease. Q. What are the alternatives for losing about 20 pounds of loose skin around my belly? I have tried everything to tighten the area up to no avail but I really want to avoid having major surgery…if possible that is. Q. I have recieved conflicting advice about using a bone cement called BoneSource-hydroxyapatite for filling the indented areas in my forehead as it can cause infections. The strange thing is it has been recommended to me by several surgeons. The reason why I would prefer to fill the area is I am concerned that shaving down the Glabella would make my nose and forehead look unnatural. Have you ever used this treatment for this sort of thing.

I understand however the options lie between filling out the depressed areas or reducing the prominent areas.
