I am interested in fat removal options to my upper legs and bum

Filed under: Expert Answers,Liposuction,Mr Adrian Richards — Tags: Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, excess fat seem to sit on my upper legs and bum, fatty tissue needs be removed, liposuction to your legs and bum area, removal options to my upper legs and bum — admin @ 10:21 am

Q. I am interested in fat removal options to my upper legs and bum. I am not greatly over weight but all my excess fat seem to sit on my upper legs and bum which is making it almost impossible to find jeans and trousers that fit me without having to get them in sizes 2-4 inches larger than my waist just so my legs can fit in them. What method would you suggest to remove the excess fat and how much is it likely to cost?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry about possible liposuction to your legs and bum area. Generally, this type of liposuction would cost in the region of 3,000-4,000 pounds but it does vary depending very much on the areas treated and how much fatty tissue needs be removed. I think it would be worthwhile having a look at our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk which could give you the best idea on what’s involved in the procedure. If you feel you would like to schedule the consultation with one of our specialist surgeons please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362. Many thanks for your enquiry, we do look forward to meeting you in the near future should you decide to schedule a consultation. Would thermage treatment work for saggy skin around the top of a persons legs

Filed under: Expert Answers,Mr Adrian Richards,Thermage,Thigh Lift — Tags: Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, breast uplift but also have prominent pointy nipples, elevation of the skin which is done in operations such as a thigh lift, It does tighten up skin in some areas but this is slightly variable, thermage treatment, thermage treatment in my experience is not 100% reliable, thermage treatment work for saggy skin, treating this area other than surgical removal — admin @ 10:49 am

Q. Would thermage treatment work for saggy skin around the top of a persons legs. Is there a reason I cant find a surgeon that does this treatment, is this because its not particularly effective?!?! What is a good alternative to thermage for this area of the body?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry. Unfortunately, thermage treatment in my experience is not 100% reliable in improving side of skin around the top of the person’s legs. It does tighten up skin in some areas but this is slightly variable. Unfortunately, there are lots and lots of options for treating this area other than surgical removal and elevation of the skin which is done in operations such as a thigh lift. I think it would be worthwhile having a look around the internet particularly our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk to get more information about these procedures. If you feel you would like to proceed with an appointment please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362. Could you tell me which non surgical treatment you use that gets the best results for plumper lips?

Q. Mr Richards. Could you tell me which non surgical treatment you use that gets the best results for plumper lips?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, I think generally thread lifts are not improve to be universally popular in a given such varied results. Probably the best thing for you at the age of  40 would be non-surgical treatments such as dermal fillers to restore the nasolabial lines and also possibly Botox treatment to improve your jaw line. My lips are very skinny and wonder if a lip lift would help me out

Filed under: Expert Answers,Lip Enhancement,Mr Adrian Richards — Tags: acid based dermal fillers, Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, best treatment for loss of volume in the corner of the mouth, dermal filler treatment, lip lift — admin @ 10:21 am

Q. I’m 25 and thinking about having a lip lift, I have researched a lttle on the different procedures but im still not sure on what treatment to have at first. My lips are very skinny and wonder if a lip lift would help me out. When first looking into these kinds of treatments would you niormally advise patients to have a non surgical treatment to begin with?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, the best treatment for loss of volume in the corner of the mouth is the dermal filler treatment. In this treatment, hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers are used to restore volume to this area giving more upturned appearance to the region. For more information about this treatment please visit our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk. where you’ll find lots of information about dermal fillers. If you feel you would like to schedule a consultation to discuss the treatment and if necessary proceed with treatment please ring us on 01844-214362. would like to know what is expected recovery period when having areola reduction surgery for someone my age?

Filed under: Expert Answers,Mr Adrian Richards,Nipple Surgery — Tags: Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, areola reduction surgery, covery period in non-smoker at 43 is very similar to younger patient, expected recovery period when having areola reduction surgery, stitches used to suture the areola are absorbable — admin @ 2:15 am

Q. Im 43 non smoker and in good health. I would like to know what is expected recovery period when having areola reduction surgery for someone my age?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry about your areola reduction surgery. The recovery period in non-smoker at 43 is very similar to younger patient and I would anticipate that in the end you would experience mild discomfort for the first few days following surgery. The stitches used to suture the areola are absorbable and this would be trimmed one week following surgery and it’s always tight and light micropore dressing will be applied. Following removal of the string of the said tissue you can resume to most normal activities. For more information about the procedure please visit our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk where you’ll find more information about what’s involved and if you’re not too squeamish a video of myself actually doing the operation. I hope this information is really helpful, if you would like to schedule a free consultation to discuss the best way forward for you please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362. I would like to find the best treatment for the sagging at the corners of my mouth

Filed under: Dermal Fillers,Expert Answers,Mr Adrian Richards,Non Surgical Treatments — Tags: Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, best treatment for the sagging at the corners of my mouth, injection of dermal filler injections, injection of dermal filler injections in the corners of the mouth, non surgical treatment, sagging at the corners of my mouth — admin @ 2:12 am

Q. I would like to find the best treatment for the sagging at the corners of my mouth. I would like it to be non invasive of possible please. Regards

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry about treating the corners of your mouth. Luckily there is a very good non-surgical treatment for this which involves the injection of dermal filler injections in the corners of the mouth to help elevate them slightly. This typically takes about 20 minutes and it works very well for this area. I think it would be worthwhile visiting our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk to get more information about what’s involved in the procedure and if you would like to schedule the consultation to discuss the best way forward for you personally please ring us on 01844-214362. Im I correct in saying that ptosis correction & asian eyelid revision surgery is possible in a single procedure?

Filed under: Blepharoplasty,Expert Answers,Mr Adrian Richards — Tags: Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, Asian eyelids and ptosis correction, Asian eyelids and ptosis correction is possible to achieve in one operation, orrect the fold in the upper part of the eyelid to give a more defined crease, ptosis correction & asian eyelid revision surgery — admin @ 2:10 am

Q. Im I correct in saying that ptosis correction & asian eyelid revision surgery is possible in a single procedure?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, yes you were right that correction of Asian eyelids and ptosis correction is possible to achieve in one operation. With the ptosis correction the aim is to slightly shorten the muscle in the eyelid to raise the level of the eyelid margin. With the correction of the Asian eye the aim is to correct the fold in the upper part of the eyelid to give a more defined crease. Both of these procedures performed under general anesthetic and a very good result from surgery. You would need however to see a specialist eye surgeon to discuss the best way forward for you and if you do the wish to schedule this please ring us on 01844-214362. Many thanks for your enquiry, we do look forward to meeting you in the near future. Best Wishes, Yours sincerely Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, Aurora Clinics

What are the alternatives for losing about 20 pounds of loose skin around my belly?

Filed under: Expert Answers,Mr Adrian Richards,Tummy Tuck — Tags: abdominoplasty, Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, body lift procedure, information about what's involved in these procedures, tummy tuck procedure — admin @ 11:20 am

Q. What are the alternatives for losing about 20 pounds of loose skin around my belly? I have tried everything to tighten the area up to no avail but I really want to avoid having major surgery…if possible that is. Im really happy with the rest of my figure and havent come to this conclusion lightly and wanted to try and avoid plastic surgery but it seems it my only option.

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, unfortunately the loose skin around the tummy area is unlikely to be improved with losing weight or toning up the muscles. The main option to treat this area is a surgery to remove the excess tissue. This is done either by a abdominoplasty (tummy tuck procedure) or a body lift procedure if the excess tissue extends onto your flanks and back. For more information about what’s involved in these procedures please visit our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk where you’ll find lots of information and videos about the procedures and if you’re not too squeamish videos of me actually performing the operations. If you feel you would like to schedule a consultation to discuss the best way forward for you personally please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362. I am looking to have Non-Surgical Chin Enhancement as i have a very weak chin and large nose

Filed under: Botulinum Toxin - Botox,Chin Surgery,Dermal Fillers,Expert Answers,Mr Adrian Richards,Non Surgical Treatments — Tags: Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, botox and dermal fillers treatment, Maxillo-Facial Surgeon, non surgical chin enhancement — admin @ 10:27 am

Q. Hi. I am looking to have Non-Surgical Chin Enhancement as i have a very weak chin and large nose, are there any clinics in birmingham areas you could recomend?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, I’m not aware of any clinics in the Birmingham area that do specialize in this treatment but many clinics which offer botox and dermal fillers treatment will be able to discuss the treatment available for you. If you do consider surgery I would suggest that you see a maxillo-facial surgeon who do specialize in remodeling of the chin and jaw regions. I wish you the best of luck if you do decide to proceed to a consultation. Best Wishes, Yours sincerely Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, Aurora Clinics

I have recieved conflicting advice about using a bone cement called BoneSource-hydroxyapatite

Filed under: Cosmetic Surgery,Expert Answers,Mr Adrian Richards — Tags: Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, bone cement, BoneSource-hydroxyapatite, filling the indented areas in my forehead, improve the appearance of the tip of your nose with further surgery, Maxillo-Facial Surgeon — admin @ 10:24 am

Q. I have recieved conflicting advice about using a bone cement called BoneSource-hydroxyapatite for filling the indented areas in my forehead as it can cause infections. The strange thing is it has been recommended to me by several surgeons. The reason why I would prefer to fill the area is I am concerned that shaving down the Glabella would make my nose and forehead look unnatural. Have you ever used this treatment for this sort of thing.

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry. unfortunately I do not have any experience with using the BoneSource-hydroxyapatite you described. I understand however the options lie between filling out the depressed areas or reducing the prominent areas. I think it would be very important you do see a surgeon who specializes in this field and I recommend that you see a maxillo-facial surgeon to discuss the best way forward for you. Many thanks for your enquiry, I do wish you the best of luck if you decide to have a further treatment.
