I have high cohesive implants had a serious accident and both implants burst

Q. Hi – I have high cohesive implants (breasts) had a serious accident and both implants burst – this was confirmed by ultrasound – need to be replaced. I’m looking for the incision in the axillary- this is where the incision was made. Can you please advise whether this is possible. I have alot of scarring on my body which will be revised at a later date or at the same time as the above – hence I dont want more from the implant replacement. Further – I have consulted with a few surgeons – however – received mixed information…… Thank you so much Millie

A. If you’ve already had a pocket made through the axilla and have silicone implants then I can replace them with the same volume of implant. However, if you want something bigger, then I may not be able to use the same incision for silicone implants. I think you do need to have a consultation and if you do, then please bring all your medical information with you including your ultrasound information, etc. You should be able to get your medical notes from the doctor you saw who ordered the ultrasound.
