Q. Id like some details of permanent treatment for crows feet and the costs involved. Would an upper and lower eye lift be the best answer?
A. Hi there. Crow’s feet are very difficult to remove completely, but often we can make a difference with things like blepharoplasty, brow lifts and fat injections. However, surgery makes an improvement rather than completely removing them. Crow’s feet are probably the hardest things to go away, in fact

Q. I currently suffer from nasty dark bags underneath my eyes. This problem has run in my family for several generations and makes me look not only tired look much older than I actually am. I would like to know if there is procedure I can have that may reduce the look of the bags? I appreciate any information you may be able to provide about this problem and thank you very much for your time. Peter
A. Thank you for your email. The ‘dark bags’ around’ your eyes could be because of either because of hyperpigmentation and or herniation of fat into your eyelids. If it is because of herniation of retroseptal fat then blepharoplasty may be considered.I have following suggestions to help you further: 1) Please send me good quality photos for my initial comments. 2) You may wish to arrange a detailed consultation to allow me to examine you and give my opinion. 3) Please visit our website: www.vadodariaplasticsurgery.com to allow you to develop better insight into the procedure. Q. Im 28 and have always had bags under my eyes. It has got to the stage where i get depressed about this. am I too young to have blepharoplasty as when I read about it it says 35 years of age and upward
A. Thank you very much for your question which is very interesting, some people do develop bags under their eyes at an early age and this is often runs in the family. The puffiness in the area is caused by movement of the fatty cushions found in the lower eyelids forwards. It is possible to have this corrected via surgery and infact there is a special technique for people of your age group which involves trimming of the fat pads from a small incision inside the eyelid itself. This means that there will be no external scars on the eyelids themselves. I think it might be worthwhile having a look at our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk to find out more information about this type of procedure and if you feel you would like to schedule the consultation please ring us on 01844-214362. Q. Please could you tell me how much it would cost for upper and lower eyelid surgery please?
A. Most of my patients who have eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) elect to have it under local anaesthesia and sedation. The surgery is done as an outpatient in a dedicated outpatient theatre. The cost is about £2750

Q. I am 47 years old and have noticed I have some loose skin on my upper eyelids which is starting to concern me. I would like my upper eye lifted and need details of procedures and where I could have surgery.
A. Thank you very much for your enquiry. Excess skin on the upper eyelid is quite common as we get slightly older. It tends to run in families and if either your mother or father have had similar appearance you are more likely to develop it as well. Fortunately, there is a relatively straight forward solution to this which involves removing the skin fold of your upper eyelid and redefining the fold in the natural crease of your eye. This procedure is known as upper blepharoplasty. Our blepharoplasties are extremely successful and involve minimum downtime and for more information about them please visit our website http://aurora-skin-clinics.com.uk. They often also have the advantage of increasing the figure field of vision and sometimes the upper eyelids fold can begin to obscure and cut this off on the upper portion. It does sounds as if you will be an ideal candidate for this type of surgery and if you would like to schedule a consultation to discuss the best way forward for you please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362 and we’d be delighted to discuss a convenient time for an operation. Many thanks for your enquiry, we look forward to meeting you in the near future. Best Wishes, Yours sincerely Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, Aurora Clinics
