A. Thank you for your inquiry. Breast enhancement following pregnancies may involve just a breast augmentation, breast augmentation and breast uplift or just a breast uplift. This depends on the remaining volume of the breast, its shape and your target for the end result. With regards to the abdomen, it is possible to either revise the scar after the vertical cesarean section, or to perform an abdominoplasty procedure which removes the skin and fatty tissue below the bellybutton. Unfortunately, this also converts the vertical scar into a relatively long horizontal scar, but it tends to be easier to hide it in a bikini. A. your girlfriend needs to wear flight socks to reduce the risk of DVT and pulmonary embolism, and needs to have a plastic surgeon in the US available for consultation should there be a need to see one. She should see someone for a consultation for a wound check every week or so after the surgery as the commonest complication post operatively is to have wound breakdown at around 10-14 days and this needs dressing care.

Q. My girlfriend is considering breast enlarement. 2 surgeons have offered 2 different ops and sizes. Presentlty cup size A after 2 children.An under 300cc and an over the muscle 380cc for a D cup. Is an under the muscle a more natural appearance?
A. Thank you for your enquiry. When the soft tissue and envelope represented by breast and fatty tissue is relatively thin, there is little to mask the implants and create a natural appearance. In a situation like this, it can be preferable to place the implants deep to the muscle. However, if there is significant sagging in the breast tissue, an uplift procedure may also be necessary to achieve a more youthful shape for the breast.

A. Hi there. We usually wait till around 18 for surgery unless you get a GP referral in which case we can do your operation if you’re younger. If you’re less than 18 then by all means ask your doctor to refer you. If you have significant asymmetry then we can often do the operation on the NHS to improve things

A. Hi there. A breast augmentation with me currently starts from £2999 but from April it will cost £3495. If all you want is one extra cup size then we can put in a relatively small implant, but I cannot guarantee a particular cup size after surgery because different bras are different for the same sizes
