Before having dermal fillers is there as test to find out if the person may be allergic to the treatment?

Q. Before having dermal fillers is there as test to find out if the person may be allergic to the treatment? Is this something may doctor may be able to tell me?

A. Thank you for your enquiry, the new types of dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid can have very low allergy rate, unlike some of the old fillers which were made from collagen. The only collagen dermal fillers did require a skin test to test for allergy but with new dermal fillers such as juvederm and restylane do not have. Extremely it would likely that anyone will be allergic to hyaluronic acid fillers as natural body substances which are found in everybody. If you did wish to discuss the possible time for consultation to discuss the best treatment for you please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362. In the mean time, I think it would be worthwhile having a look at our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk to get an idea on what’s involved in the treatment. Many thanks for your enquiry, we do look forward to meeting you in person in the near future should you decide to schedule a consultation. Best wishes yours sincerely, Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Surgical Director of Aurora Clinics
