Q. I am a 42-year-old woman and had been struggling with being overweight for some time. I recently decided to do something about this and gave up the foods that cause the weight and also started exercising regularly. I’ve lost just over 70lbs over the last year but I now have a problem with the excess skin left over. Although I have a little money to to spare at the moment I feel that having to remove the loose skin would be beneficial to me. As happy as I am with the fact that I lost the weight but all this excess skin is getting me down. I’m prepared to finance the treatment with what ever means possible and would like to know what treatment you would suggest for my situation? Q. I have lost alot of weight since I was 12 years old around 80 lbs to be exact. I still have a little more weight I would like to loose but have noticed what I thought was fat around my hips and thighs is actually skin and the areas also have stretch marks. Do I need surgery to remove this?

Liposuction techniques like Vaser (Ultrasound assisted), Smartlipo (Laser assisted) and Bodytite (Radiofrequency assisted) may tighten skin to some extent. Q. please could you tell me if you can have a tummy tuck when you have had gyna opps. I have had a few gyna opps hence my tummy has excess skin on it and no amount of exercise will rid this excess skin. I already have scaring from previous gyna surgery.
