Q. I am considering eye surgery and im concerned about removal of fat against reposition via pedicel graft. Would you please give me your view if possible?

A. Thank you for your enquiry.   Historically, the procedure for lower eyelid contouring has evolved from aggressive removal of the excessive fatty tissue in the eyelid bags, to preservation and the redistribution under the tear trough.   Unfortunately, as with most things in life, a rigid position on either side is likely to be detrimental in some cases. My impression is that if there is a lot of volume excess, a combination of fat reduction and re-draping is more likely to achieve an elegant result.

Q. Can you give as much info as you can regarding the eyelid tuck. I looking for notice of procedure/ recovery time /cost / etc.

Q. I had a squint operation on my left eye 2 years ago at dudley hospital. About 1 year after the operation the eye feels as though it has been pushed deeper into the socket and it looks smaller too. I have raised this with my doctor but I have been told if it isn’t causing me discomfort or pain it I cannot have surgery. I would love this to be corrected so I am seeking other means.

Q. After a Macs facelift and upper and lower eye surgery 2 weeks and 2 days on my eyes are tight and stinging and one eyebrow is now lower than the other, also there is very little eyelid left and closing my eys is difficult I think too much skin has been taken off the upper lids, can you help me please?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, it sounds as if a significant part of your skin has been taken from your eyelids. And if you can’t close them fully I would advise exercises which involve tight in holding your eyelids closed for 10 seconds and then relaxing and repeating this on five occasions.   Also if your eyes are dry its worth treating them with artificial tears.   The good news is because of the initial swelling following operation when this settles the eyelid closure will be much improved.   If however you do still have problems closing your eyes after 4-6 weeks following surgery I would make an appointment with your surgeon to discuss this. Q. I have eye bag indentation in lower eyes makeup helps little but can still see line below darker bit sunken espisally when look down is anything to help this and what price
