Q. I would appreciate your advice on whether the eyebag procedure would be of benefit to me as i suffer from fluid retention under my eyes and should i do the surgery will this problem just return in a short time afterwards. i am 47 years of age, self employed business man and this is embarrassing for me and would love to get it sorted.
A. Often with people who have severe problems with their eyelids, we can make a difference but we can’t make things perfect. If you suffer from allergies and puffy eyes in the morning, then the effects of surgery won’t last as long but I can’t remember the last time I didn’t make a difference to someone in whom I recommended such treatment. If you would like me to see you then please call 0141-552 0828 to find out more

Q. Hi I am 40 healthy non smoker not overweught and looking to have eye surgery (upper and lower) and would like to know the costs hospital details and time off work till recovered Kind regards
A. Most people need to take a couple of weeks off work after eyelid surgery, but the lower lids continue to swell and change over a period of around 6 weeks. you can see my prices here: http://www.labelleforme.co.uk/cosmetic_surgery_prices.html Also, I’m having an open evening next week on Wednesday at my clinic so if you want to see me for a free mini consultation you can do that at the open day if you’re interested.

Q. I appreciate that you cannot give prices but are you able to give me a rough indication of price for getting lower eye bags done and possible thread lift on mid face. I do not wish to be wasting anyone’s time if this is way out of my league. At least then, I will know what sort of amount I need to aim for. Many thanks. regards,
A. Thanks for your question. Actually, I am quite transparent about my prices, and I publish them on my website at www.labelleforme.co.uk. I haven’t seen many good results with thread lifts and I prefer other techniques, such as minor fat transfers for midface rejuvenation in most people. However, what would be best for you would clearly depend on what we find at a consultation. You can see me for a free mini consultation on one of my open evenings if you’re still at the research stage.

Q. Can you tell me what the average cost is to have my upper and lower eyebags removed? Also what will it be like after surgery will be able to see? How long for scars to heal?
A. Thank you for your enquiry. It sounds as if you would be a good candidate for an upper and lower blepharoplasty in which the skin fold is removed from the upper eyelid and the skin tightened with possible fat removal from the lower eyelids.Regarding costs of the surgery it is best to speak to one of our patient advisors on 08707 606 555.Following surgery you are usually slightly bruised on the upper and lower eyelids and sometimes on the lower cheeks. You will be able to see normally and swelling tends to disappear after two weeks. The scars in the upper eyelid is located in the fold and in the lower eyelid just below the eyelashes and extending out into the natural skin crease. These scars will be slightly red initially but will fade with time eventually usually after three to four months fading to a silvery line.
