Q. Hello, I am very unhappy & tearful as i am wring to you. I have had facial surgery (macs) & eyelid surgery with corrections for fat replcement & thereafter removel which has resulted in lumps & scaring around my eyes. I did my homework for some years before i ventured into cosmetic surgery and wished i never had. My face has sunken making problems around my eyes prominant, i feel i need cheek implants or sculpta & where should i go as i am totally confused of expertise in this field & i am worried i will pick the wrong surgeon who may be able to help?

Q. Just what procedures are part of a full face lift? I know eyelid surgery is often part of it, but what other procedures are typically done during a full face lift? How long is a patient typically “out” during surgery?

Q. Please could you tell me how much it would cost for upper and lower eyelid surgery please?

A. Most of my patients who have eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) elect to have it under local anaesthesia and sedation. The surgery is done as an outpatient in a dedicated outpatient theatre.The cost is about £2750

Q. I would appreciate prices for Blepharoplasty for both upper and lower eye.

Q. I have drooping upper eyelids and find it hard to read in the evenings because my eyes feel very tired and I find it hard to open wide. I was looking into the idea of surgery and would like any information you can provide about this treatment.

Q. I have large xanthelasma on both eyes on my eyelid and under my eyes.could you give me a price of the surgery and treatment please/

A. Hi there. For eyelid surgery under local anaesthetic we usually charge £1000, but you do need to have a consultation with me first. Treatment involves removing as much as we can without causing your eyelids to pull on your eye opening and closing mechanisms, so sometimes we’re limited in being able to remove this completely. We also usually ask you to get your cholesterol levels checked by your GP and unfortunately, xanthelasmata can always come back even after we remove them.
