Thank you for your inquiry.Although a short scar facelift and upper lid blepharoplasty can be performed as a general anesthetic, day case procedure, I would recommend to you to stay in hospital overnight. This would be particularly relevant if you would need to travel more than an hour to an hour and a half to get back on.I would typically do the surgery at the BMI Fitzroy Square hospital, which is situated in central London.The cost related to the surgery is close to £8000, or an overnight stay but would be somewhat less as a day case.

Q. I have hollowing to lower eyes and would like cheeks made fuller. what would you do for this and what would the price be.

Thank you for your inquiry.   It seems to me that the treatment which would help both area that she we are concerned about would be a fat transfer.   From what you describe, it seems that the development of the cheekbones is insufficient for the facial proportions, and this contributes to a flatter appearance of the cheeks and face, and to visibility of the circles under the eyes (tear trough).   The surgery usually takes place under a local anaesthetic with sedation or general anaesthetic and is a day case intervention, and the cost related to that treatment is approximately £2700.

Q. I am 70 yrs. old am I too old to have a facelift and eye bag. I am a non smoking male who if fairly active and in good health with no complications. What are risks for me at my age to have facelift?

A. Thank you for your inquiry.   At the age of 70, it is still possible to have a facelift procedure for someone who is in good health.   The main consideration is related to the anaesthetic, and a preoperative meeting with the anaesthetist would be preferable. I sometimes also recommend having an investigation for the carotid arteries to see if there is significant narrowing in relation to atheroma, which would increase the risk of stroke with an anaesthetic.   An assessment of the blood pressure would be also very important, both in terms of the risks related to anaesthesia and entrance of the risk of bleeding.   The healing process is perfectly acceptable, and the risks related to bleeding and infection would be no different  if your blood pressure is good.   With regards to the eyelid procedure, there are additional considerations, which are part of the assessment which takes place in consultation.

If by mini facelift you mean a short scar facelift, you need to bear in mind that this is addressing primary the face and jawline but has very limited bearing on the contour of the neck. If this is suitable for your situation, the cost related to surgery is approximately £5500, and the operation is typically performed under general anesthetic and associated with an overnight stay in hospital.
