A. Hi there. For facial rejuvenation surgery we offer facelifts for the lower face but for the mid face we often see volume loss in the cheekbone region. Q. Could you please give me an estimated cost for a short facelift and blepharoplasty to upper eyelids. Is it a day case? Which hospital?

A. Thank you for your inquiry.Although a short scar facelift and upper lid blepharoplasty can be performed as a general anesthetic, day case procedure, I would recommend to you to stay in hospital overnight. This would be particularly relevant if you would need to travel more than an hour to an hour and a half to get back on.I would typically do the surgery at the BMI Fitzroy Square hospital, which is situated in central London.The cost related to the surgery is close to £8000, or an overnight stay but would be somewhat less as a day case.

Q. I have hollowing to lower eyes and would like cheeks made fuller. what would you do for this and what would the price be.

A. Thank you for your inquiry.   It seems to me that the treatment which would help both area that she we are concerned about would be a fat transfer.   From what you describe, it seems that the development of the cheekbones is insufficient for the facial proportions, and this contributes to a flatter appearance of the cheeks and face, and to visibility of the circles under the eyes (tear trough).   The surgery usually takes place under a local anaesthetic with sedation or general anaesthetic and is a day case intervention, and the cost related to that treatment is approximately £2700.

Q. I am 70 yrs. old am I too old to have a facelift and eye bag. I am a non smoking male who if fairly active and in good health with no complications. What are risks for me at my age to have facelift?

A. Thank you for your inquiry.   At the age of 70, it is still possible to have a facelift procedure for someone who is in good health.   The main consideration is related to the anaesthetic, and a preoperative meeting with the anaesthetist would be preferable. I sometimes also recommend having an investigation for the carotid arteries to see if there is significant narrowing in relation to atheroma, which would increase the risk of stroke with an anaesthetic.   An assessment of the blood pressure would be also very important, both in terms of the risks related to anaesthesia and entrance of the risk of bleeding.   The healing process is perfectly acceptable, and the risks related to bleeding and infection would be no different  if your blood pressure is good.   With regards to the eyelid procedure, there are additional considerations, which are part of the assessment which takes place in consultation.

Q. Hello! I would like some idea of the cost of a facial lift procedure do you specialising in this type of procedure and locations of hospitals

A. Thank you for your enquiry. I do indeed have an interest in facelift and neck lift surgery, and I tend to use most frequently in the BMI hospital in Fitzroy square, in central London.  Alternative hospitals would be the Wellington hospital or Cromwell hospital, again in central London. For the facelift with neck lift surgery, the cost is close to £7,000, as an overnight stay general anaesthetic.

Q. I am 27 years old but I have slight sagging of the upper eyelids and also frown lines on my forehead which I would like to correct and I am not sure whether a Brow Lift or Feather lift would be more suitable. I am also interested in learning some rough prices.

Q. I am 42 and have done some research and have come to the conclusion that a neck lift is the procedure I want to deal with loose and sagging skin on my neck

A. Hi there. A neck lift can often be performed to tighten some of the muscles around the neck region and occasionally we also recommend a minor degree of liposuction to the area to reduce some of the fat in the double chin region. When we gather all the loose skin upwards, it does mean you have to have a scar somewhere and this is something you could discuss with a surgeon at a consultation if you want to find out more information about what can be done for you
