The difference between a mini tummy tuck and full tummy tuck is the skin removed. In a full tummy tuck all the skin between the pubic area and tummy button is removed. The belly button is made on a stalk which is pulled out through the skin. On a mini tummy tuck only part of the skin between the pubic area and the tummy button and the skin bought down but with no scar aroudn the tummy button. Q. I am fit and healthy. At 5 8 and 10st7lb to 11st approx however i do not seem to be able to shift a small tyre around my waist. Would liposuction help or does it sound like i need a tummy tuck? There is no excess skin to remove just fat.
A. Thank you for your enquiry. As you may know there are a number of new non surgical techniques for removing fatty tissue from the area you describe. These include Vaser lipo and smart liposuction and it maybe that this is the best treatment to consider in the first instance. It is difficult to recommend a particular treatment for you without seeing you.
