Q. I have suffered from minor gynaecomastia since puberty (I am now 27). Q. I was wondering if physical exercise alone can reverse the effects of gynaecomastia. I have been losing body fat but my breasts seem to stay the same? Is surgery the answer help!

A. there’s no doubt that losing weight and becoming thin does have an effect on the size of male breast size, but sometimes despite all exercise and dieting the problem lies with the glandular tissue rather than the amount of fat that’s present, so surgery needs to be done

Q. How much for a male breast reduction? I have a bit of unsightly fatty tissue around my nipples. There is not a massive amount to remove but its enough for the area to be very noticeable when im wearing tight shirts and t shirts.

Q. My uncle is 37 years old and he would like to reduce his male breasts. He lives in London, can you please give some information about how much it will cost him to perform this surgery? Q. I am a healthy 21 year old male and basically i ve got excess fat on my chest which I want removed so I have a flat chest, also my nipples (or the areola i think it is) they are puffed and bigger than normal.

Q. Hello. Im not sure if my condition fits in here; however I have been to see my GP and he has told me to seek cosmetic surgery. I have a cluster of glandular tissue on the outer part of my nipple, meaning it looks like a third one. It can be removed?

Q. hi there i have had Gynaecomastia since i was 13 now and was reffered to hospital from my doctor. im 21 now. recently i was to told to lose weight. but i was watching tv this moring and the surgeon explaining it said that it is irellevant becuaseit is a gland and only way to get rid of it was surgery. Can you tell me how i go about getting this surgery done.

You are right that the fatty tissue will not decrease as you lose weight and is not suitable for treatment with a liposuction.   If you are of a normal weight maybe you need actual removal of the glandular tissue from your breast area.
