I would like to speak to somebody with some questions I have regarding a breast reduction for myself

Filed under: Expert Answers,Gynacomastia,Male Breast Reduction,Maxillo Facial Surgery,Mr Taimur Shoaib — Tags: Breast Reduction, gynaecomastia, increased amounts of hormones that men are being exposed to — admin @ 12:21 pm

Q. I would like to speak to somebody with some questions I have regarding a breast reduction for myself. I believe I have a mild case of Gynaecomastia and would like to gt it treated as soon as possible.

A. Hi there. Gynaecomastia is becoming a more common problem in men these days, despite diet and exercise and many people feel it’s because of the increased amounts of hormones that men are being exposed to. If you would like to see me, we can talk about how we can improve things, and I have some information on line for you at: http://www.labelleforme.co.uk/gynaecomastia.html Please call 0141-5520828 to book an appointment to see me after you have the information you need to take things further

Filed under: Expert Answers,Gynacomastia,Male Breast Reduction,Male Cosmetic Surgery,Mr Lucian Ion — Tags: extra tissue around my chest area, gynaecomastia, loose skin and stretchmarks, surgical correction, using anabolic steroids to enhance muscle development significantly increases the risk of gynaecomastia — admin @ 1:15 am

Q. Im a 23 year old male who is a regular gym user, but have always had extra tissue around my chest area which i cannot seem to remove by weight training or cardio! I am by no means fat and toned all over its just that I cant seem to get rid of of the fat in this area. Could this be the beginning of getting man breasts because this is not something I want to put up with.

A. Thank you for your enquiry.   From your description, there is a strong possibility of gynaecomastia, which then would require surgical correction.   It is very important to bear in mind that using anabolic steroids to enhance muscle development significantly increases the risk of gynaecomastia development.

Do you find that after a pateint has male breast reduction that they need surgery again at a later date

Filed under: Expert Answers,Gynacomastia,Male Breast Reduction,Male Cosmetic Surgery,Mr Adrian Richards — Tags: gynaecomastia, information about male breast reduction procedure, loose skin and stretchmarks, Male Breast Reduction, ultrasound energy is used to dissolved the fatty tissue, Vaser liposuction — admin @ 9:49 am

Q. Do you find that after a pateint has male breast reduction that they need surgery again at a later date or does the treatment completely fix the problem?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry about possible treatments for excess tissue in your chest area. This is a condition known as Gynaecomastia and unfortunately it can occur in some people even if their weight is relatively normal. The best solution to this in my opinion is normally Vaser liposuction. In this technique (ultrasound energy) is used to dissolved the fatty tissue which is then removed by liposuction. This technique is very effective and can be performed with you awake if you so choose. So for more information about this procedure and the causes of increased tissue in the male chest area in (Gynaecomastia), please visit our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk. If following this you feel would like to schedule a consultation to discuss the best way forward for you please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362 or email us at info@aurora-clinics.co.uk. Many thanks for your enquiry, we look forward to meeting you in person in the near future. Best Wishes, Yours sincerely Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, Aurora Clinics

Over the last 2-3 years along with putting on about 3 stone in weight I developed man boobs

Q. Over the last 2-3 years along with putting on about 3 stone in weight I developed man boobs. I srated swimming regularly and joined a local circuit training group and the weight came straight off but the boobs are still there and I can seem to shift the fat. I really want to avoid having surgery and wondered if you have any tips I could try that you may have picked up with previous patients before I go down the surgery route..

A. Hi there thanks for the enquiry. well, you are actually doing all the right things already. Having a good diet and exercise is the key. Man boobs (moobs) or gynaecomastia can occur for a variety of reasons so it might also be an idea to go to your GP to get your hormone levels checked too. In the majority of people this is normal so the next stage is accepting the problem or considering surgery. Liposuction would be the first procedure of choice. Perhaps you could phone Kim my secretary for further information on 01342 330302. Alternatively email on help@paulebanwell.com. I look forward to meeting you Cheerio Paul Banwell www.paulebanwell.com

Im a male of 26 years and suffered from enlarge puffy nipplies since early teens

Filed under: Expert Answers,Mr Taimur Shoaib,Nipple Surgery — Tags: enlarge puffy nipplies, gynaecomastia, gynaecomastia which requires surgery, non surgical, reduce the puffy nipples with creams or injection — admin @ 9:47 am

Q. Im a male of 26years and suffered from enlarge puffy nipplies since early teens is there anything non surgical I can try to reduce the puffy appearance such as creams or an injection of some type?

A. unfortunately, I haven’t found a cream or injection that works well for puffy nipples in men, or gynaecomastia. Puffy nipples are, in fact, often a form of gynaecomastia which requires surgery, in my experience.

I am a 45 year old male who has always been concious of having additional fat around the breast area

Filed under: Expert Answers,Liposuction,Mr Chris Inglefield — Tags: additional fat around the breast area, gynaecomastia, lypsuction to remove some of the fatty tissue, removed by liposuction — admin @ 12:21 pm

Q. I am a 45 year old male who has always been concious of having additional fat around the breast area. I was thinking of having lypsuction to remove some of the fatty tissue. My questionsa are can this be dangerous? how much would it cost and do you do free consultations? Regards Percy

A. Dear Percy!  Firstly, tahnk you for your enquiry and signing your name! I answer so many of these with no name on them – which makes it very impersonal!  From your description, you have a condition called gynaecomastia – or male breast development.  Some of the tissue will be fatty, but you may also have some gland tissue.  The former can be removed by liposuction, while the latter will need to be removed by surgery.  The surgery is not dangerous.  You will need to be carefull assessed and likely need a blood screen to ensure that there is not a hormonal disturbance causing this. Please call Anne or Kirstie on 0845 009 2775 who will be happy to arrange your consultation for you to discuss your concerns and the options.Best regards

I was wondering if physical exercise alone can reverse the effects of gynaecomastia

Filed under: Expert Answers,Gynacomastia,Male Breast Reduction,Male Cosmetic Surgery,Mr Taimur Shoaib — Tags: glandular tissue, gynaecomastia, physical exercise — admin @ 10:13 am

Q. I was wondering if physical exercise alone can reverse the effects of gynaecomastia. I have been losing body fat but my breasts seem to stay the same? Is surgery the answer help!

A. there’s no doubt that losing weight and becoming thin does have an effect on the size of male breast size, but sometimes despite all exercise and dieting the problem lies with the glandular tissue rather than the amount of fat that’s present, so surgery needs to be done
