Is gynaecomastia treatment available on the NHS if not could you please tell me how much you charge for male breast reduction ?

Filed under: Expert Answers,Male Breast Reduction,Mr Adrian Richards — Tags: gynaecomastia treatment, Male Breast Reduction, NHS, Vaser liposuction — admin @ 1:40 am

Q. Is gynaecomastia treatment available on the NHS if not could you please tell me how much you charge for male breast reduction ?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry. The answer is yes. Gynecomastia treatment is normally available on the NHS but this really depends on the region you live in and the local regulations.I think it would be worthwhile talking to your GP to discuss whether this treatment would be available to you.If it is not available and treatment our costs start at approximately 2000 pounds and would involve a Vaser liposuction. This is the most effective way of treating excessive male breast tissue. If you have no luck yet with your GP in NHS, I would be more than happy to see you for a free consultation and you could schedule this by ringing 01844-214362.Many thanks for your enquiry. I look forward to seeing you in the near future if you do decide to proceed with an appointment. Best wishes. My gynaecomastia is not very bad but i have had it for 10 years, how much will it cost roughly?

Filed under: Expert Answers,Male Breast Reduction,Mr Shailesh Vadodaria — Tags: gynaecomastia, gynaecomastia treatment, gynaecomastia treatments, male breast removal, Mr. Shailesh Vadodaria gynaecomastia, Mr. Shailesh Vadodaria liposuction — admin @ 12:53 pm

Q. My gynaecomastia is not very bad but i have had it for 10 years, how much will it cost roughly? i need to have it done as less expensive as possible.

A. If gynaecomastia is because of deposition of excess fat on the front of the chest wall then only liposuction is required. The total cost is from £3000/. If gynaecomastia is because of deposition of fatty and non-fatty tissue then it may require liposuction assisted open excision. In such cases, the total cost ranges from £3500/. You may wish to send me good quality photos for my initial comments. You may wish to arrange a detailed consultation with me for assessment and my opinion. In the mean time please go through the section of gynaecomastia and the photo gallery on our website: www.vadodariaplasticsurgery.com to allow you to develop better insight. Please donot hesitate to conatct me if you need any further assistance. With best wishes,

Can you do gynaecomastia revision?

Filed under: Cosmetic Surgery,Expert Answers,Mr Taimur Shoaib — Tags: gynaecomastia, gynaecomastia correction, gynaecomastia revision, gynaecomastia revision Mr. Lucian Ion, gynaecomastia treatment — admin @ 11:53 am

Q. Hiya I have had gynaecomastia surgery once in August but some gland tissue was left so I had to have it again in January. However whilst once side is completely flat the other still has a small amount of gland and fat left? Can you do revision surgery?

A. Thank you for your enquiry. He has indeed, revision surgery is possible for gynaecomastia correction, and it tends to be much easier to remove more tissue than to correct an over resection.  I think in this respect, your surgeon has made the right choice in being cautious, although nobody wants to have repeat surgery and I can easily understand your disappointment.

I just have a bit of fat how much will lipo be?

Filed under: Expert Answers,Liposuction,Mr Lucian Ion — Tags: chest liposuction, gland removal, gynaecomastia treatment, how much is lipo, lucian ion liposuction, tightening of the skin — admin @ 9:19 am

Q. Hi Ive been to 3 of the larger companys i wont mention names but im sure you can imagine, 2 said i need gland removal and the last one said no just 1 area of lipo. I have a bit of fat around my chest area, and just want it removing, there really isnt much, if it is 1 area of lipo with you ive been told the guide price is 2400 to the chest for 1 area is this correct?  If you can get back to me that would be great as im obv keen to sort something ASAP

A. Treatment for the gynaecomastia is proportionate to the degree of laxity (droop) of the chest tissues, as well as to would be amount and texture of breast tissue.  When the breast tissue is very firm, it is difficult to corrected with liposuction, and sometimes of the reshaping involved will be insufficient unless there is also a small access incision to take away some of the firm breast tissue. My approach at present is to use radio-frequency assisted liposuction (Bodytite) to the breast and lateral part of the chest wall in part because it facilitates treatment of the firm breast tissue, and in part because it leads to a degree of tightening of the skin and improved definition of the chest contours. However, it is necessary to have a proper consultation in order to define the characteristics of the problem, and with it the type of surgery that it involves.  In many cases, I tell patients that I will start with the liposuction, which will provide the majority of the contouring, but if the degree of correction appears insufficient at the end of the liposuction, I will completed with a small (2.5 cm) incision inside the nipple areola complex, to remove the breast tissue which has not been sutured be corrected. The treatment cost is in the area of £3500 as a day case procedure.
