Q. Im a athletic 29 year old male who has had what I (and others) consider excessively large breasts. They are not huge as such but because of my lean frame they stand out quite obviously in most types of clothing.
A. Thank you for your question. What you describe is typical of gynaecomastia or male breast development. This is a fairly common condition which is effectively treated by removal of the excess tissue through a very small incision in the lower edge of the nipple. Q. Im enquiring about the cost to have alterations made to both nipples. They are both puffy and have not changed back to normal since puberty. I have spoken to my doctor and its very unlikely I will be able to get this done on the NHS especially without a long waiting period. After 7 years of putting up with this problem id like to get some treatment now or in the very near future.

As what you describe is an early grade of gynaecomastia, or male breasts. Q. My nipple have a puffiness about them and are pointing. Im not overweight and have no disorders of any kind as far as I know. I have read a few of the question on this website about these symtoms does it sound like gynaecomastia to you?
A. Thank you for your inquiry. It is indeed a basic form of gynaecomastia, and in general terms it is not amenable to correction through liposuction. Typically, in a situation like yours I would make a small incision in the lower half of the nipple-areola complex, and reduce the breast tissue behind the nipple.

A. Hi there. If you’re under 18, then you need a GP referral to a plastic surgeon, either on the NHS or privately at your local private hospital. You should come with one of your parents to the appointments. Hope this helps

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry about possible male breast reduction. It sounds as if you have a condition known as Gynaecomastia which is very common. If you are in any way of weight I think it would be best to perhaps see a personal trainor and look at your diet to get down to a normal weight as this will reduce the prominence of the area. If you are normal weight in bracket a BMI of between 20 and 25 surgery would be appropriate and this would normally consist of a liposuction to remove the underline breast tissue.
