Q. I have a small scar on the right side of my chin from falling off a swing in India at the age of seven, When the wound was stitched it was not stitched correctly, as a result it has left a large scar which I would like to have treated. Can you advise how this could be done?
A. Hi there. We have a lot of treatments available for scars including surgery, lasers, micropigmentation, dermarollers, creams, injections and so on. What’s best for you depends on the exact appearance of the scar, and you should see a plastic surgeon for an opinion as to what can be done. Thereafter you can consider your options and perhaps have treatment if you are willing to accept the limitations of scar improvement treatments

Q. hello I am interested in further information and costs for feather lift only for face and neck. I am 45 year old woman and feel my face needs a lift but do not want scars?
A. Hi. We have a few options for people who don’t want scars, want minimal downtime and want skin only lifts. I tend to use endotines for these, and we have two options. We can do an endotine lower neck lift and an endotine midface lift. However, if you have excess skin then you probably have to have a formal facelift, but we can make it a mini lift, or we can fill out the lost volume with fat transfers. What we recommend depends on what you have and what you want to achieve. However, if you really don’t want any long scars at all then we can certainly talk about what we can do for you. The costs really do depend on what we do – eg endotine neck, endotine midface, volumisation with injections, fat transfers, etc. We also often use combinations of treatments so it’s difficult to give you a price for what we would recommend.
