Q. Although a breast uplift is my main concern i would also like my inverted nipples done and a small amount of liposuction to my tummy and hips could i have a rough guide price please and can all procedures be done at the same time
A. Breast lift is also called mastopexy.The cost ranges from £4500 and £5500. The tummy tuck is also called abdominal reduction/abdominoplasty. I also perform liposuction along with tummy tuck to improve the shape of the abdomen. The cost ranges from £5200 and £7000. These procedures can be combined together. I do not like to perform correction of inverted nipples at the time of breast lift procedure. I would suggest that correction of inverted nipples should be done as a separate procedure at a late date. It costs approximately £2250. I perform these procedures routinely in my practice. Most of the time, correction of inverted nipples is carried out under a local anaesthetic, and involves releasing some of the central fibrous bands and the milk ducts that contribute to the inversion. It can lead to permanent disruption of the ability to breastfeed and to some reduction in sensation (rare). Q. I have flat nipples rather than inverted and been told that this is more difficult to correct and may not last. Is this something you can help with and if so what is the success rate ?
A. Thank you very much for your enquiry. It does sound as if you have grade 1 inverted nipples. These are characterized by flat nipples with sometimes invert but go back to being flat. It’s not true that these are more difficult to correct than inverted nipples and certainly surgery can be performed to correct these with a very good good success rate.
