Q. Hi there. Can you tell me if you offer the bleth procedure called “eyetight”? I would like to whole area around my eyes tighened upper and lower. If possible could you give me some more information please?

Q. I have a regreatable tattoo on the inside of my right arm. I feel I have well grown out of this and want to look into having it removed. Its about 4 inches long and all black. Can it be removed in one treatment or woiuld I have to come in several times?

A. You have a few options – surgery and laser. The laser treatment leaves no scar usually and needs to be repeated on several occasions. Surgery may be possible in one go and will leave a scar – whether we can do it all at once depends on how lax the skin is in that area. Q. Is it possible to do laser hair reduction around eye brows if possiable. Thanks for your time

Q. I need my bikini lines done, but was wondering if laser removes them permanently? I tire of waxing and shaving. How much is it? Where are you located?

A. Laser hair treatment is more of a permanent reduction in hair rather than a permanent removal of hair. Lasers work very well, but you do need repeated treatments every few weeks. Q. Can you tell me what the Fraxel laser is and if i can go back to work after. I think i need some kind of facial rejuvenation and have heard this is one of the best treatments. How much is it per treatment and how many would i need for fine lines and wrinkles on face.

A. To understand the differences between fraxel and normal laser, you should know what a normal laser does. There are several types of laser, but the one you need to know about is an “ablative” laser. These include lasers such as the CO2 laser. The CO2 laser removes the top layer of your skin and new skin grows from underneath to provide you with treatment for lines and wrinkles and scarring. After CO2 ablative surgery to the face, though, the recovery time is several months – meaning your skin is very red for that time. Because recovery takes so long, the laser companies developed the fraxel laser. Instead of causing the whole skin to be shed and renewed, the fraxel laser only treats a mesh-like pattern of skin. That means there’s a lot of undamaged skin surrounding the treated skin to produce the new skin to replace the treated skin. So, recovery is a lot faster. With some fraxel lasers (we have the Pearl Laser at La Belle Forme, and you can search YouTube for my clinic’s video of it) you can go back to work after a week, but you may need a few treatments.
