I have a large birthmark my face that I have attempted to get removed more than once

Filed under: Birth Marks,Expert Answers,Mr LeRoux Fourie — Tags: large birthmark my face, laser treatment, perlane injections for the rhinolabial lines from side of my nose to corner of mouth — admin @ 10:52 am

Q. I have a large birthmark my face that I have attempted to get removed more than once. The mark is around the size of a 50p coin and is a browny blue colour. I have had several courses of laser treatment which were ineffective. Are you are aware of any other treatments that may help for my situation?

A. It is difficult to give an opinion without seeing the mark or knowing where on the face it is situated. Would you be able to send me a photo at info@lerouxfourie.co.uk and I might be able to be more specific in advising youRegardsLeRoux Fourie

I have quite a deep scar on my lip from an accident five years ago when I was working with a piece of wire

Q. I have quite a deep scar on my lip from an accident five years ago when I was working with a piece of wire. I would like to look at the possibility of having my lip treated in some way to hide the appearance of the scar as it looks quite deep even now. What treatments could you advise or are available for this please?

A. Hi there. For scar revision surgery we have a number of options including surgery, laser treatment, and other non surgical treatments. With all scars we can’t take them away, but we can improve them. However, whenever we try and improve upon a scar we sometimes reduce its prominence so that you’re more comfortable with its presence.

I have currently got a few tattoos on my neck and want them removed

Filed under: Expert Answers,Mr Lucian Ion,Scar Improvement,Tattoo Removal — Tags: laser specialist, laser treatment, scars on the neck do not always heal as fine lines, tattoos on my neck and want them removed — admin @ 2:40 am

Q. hi Mr Lucian Ion i have currently got a few tattoos on my neck and want them removed but dont want laser as it takes to long how much would it be for any alternatives thank you excuse the email it my boxing name

A. Thank you for your enquiry. It is unlikely that the result open excision would be anywhere near the aesthetic quality of laser treatment. The scars on the neck do not always heal as fine lines, and would potentially be much more visible. I am not a laser specialist,  but I know that standard surgery is very rarely a good solution for tattoo removal.

I have had a couple of laser treatments to remove a seven inch long two and a half inch wide tattoo and its really painful

Filed under: Expert Answers,Laser Treatments,Mr Chris Inglefield,Tattoo Removal — Tags: laser treatment, Laser Treatments, laser treatments to remove a seven inch long two and a half inch wide tattoo, remove a seven inch long two and a half inch wide tattoo, surgical treatment called excision, topical anaesthetic cream — admin @ 10:18 am

Q. I have had a couple of laser treatments to remove a seven inch long two and a half inch wide tattoo and its really painful should i have a surgical treatment called excision.

A. Thank you for your enquiry.  LASER treatments are the most effective way to remove most tattoos.  Surgical excision is a very effecient means but necessitates a long scar.  You should request that a topical anaesthetic cream is applied before the LASER treatment to make this a bit more comfortable.Hope that this helps.Best regards

I have a tattoo that has undergone previous laser treatment which has left de pigmentation and scarring

Filed under: Expert Answers,Laser Treatments,Mr Taimur Shoaib,Tattoo Removal — Tags: blend the remains of the tattoo, laser treatment, micropigmentation — admin @ 10:08 am

Q. I have a tattoo that has undergone previous laser treatment which has left de pigmentation and scarring would it be possible to have the remains removed by surgical excision,if so what are the likely costs?

A. you can have several options – you can get micropigmentation to blend the remains of the tattoo, you can get excision (either in one go or by a technique called serial excision) or you can get it removed and skin grafted. Your options are best discussed with me at a consultation so if you want to call 01415520828 we can talk about this and I can look at your tattoo remnants

I had bad acne on my shoulders and middle of my back and have been left with some really bad scarring

Filed under: Acne,Expert Answers,Mr Taimur Shoaib,Scar Improvement — Tags: bad acne on my shoulders, laser treatment, lasers and dermarollers — admin @ 10:35 am

Q. I have problems with skin on my shoulders as a few years ago I had bad acne on my shoulders and middle of my back and have been left with some really bad scarring. I wanted tom know about treatment I could have to help the areas of my back and give me back some confidence.

A. acne scarring can be quite difficult to remove and often we’re looking for improvements rather than anything else. Your options are often things like lasers and dermarollers, but of course the best course of action depends on a whole host of things. If you want a quick mini consultation at my next open evening we can talk about things in more detail. My open evening will be on July 21st and there’s more information at the La Belle Forme web site.

I have a regreatable tattoo on the inside of my right arm. I feel I have well grown out of this and want to look into having it removed

Filed under: Expert Answers,Mr Taimur Shoaib,Tattoo Removal — Tags: laser tattoo removal, laser therapist, laser treatment, Tattoo Removal — admin @ 12:42 pm

Q. I have a regreatable tattoo on the inside of my right arm. I feel I have well grown out of this and want to look into having it removed. Its about 4 inches long and all black. Can it be removed in one treatment or woiuld I have to come in several times?

A. You have a few options – surgery and laser. The laser treatment leaves no scar usually and needs to be repeated on several occasions. Surgery may be possible in one go and will leave a scar – whether we can do it all at once depends on how lax the skin is in that area. If you want to come for a free mini consultation with me and my laser therapist you can see us at our open evening which is taking place on June 28th at 6pm at La Belle Forme in Glasgow.
