Q. I would like advice on the removal of my turkey double chin..!! This is hereditary and not due to access weight. Please can you help me with some advice.
A. We have a few options for a double chin and what we recommend depends on how much fat there is and how much excess skin there is. The options include a lower face lift, liposuction, laser treatment and the shape of your chin and neck. Q. I had laser treatment for brown spots on my chest approx 1–yr ago. Now I have stripes on my chest. Lighter than the rest of my skin. What can be done to rectify this and why did it happen/? Thank you
A. Thank you very much for your enquiry about the pale areas following laser therapy. Unfortunately this is very difficult to treat as the laser has removed the pigment cells in the area treated. I would suggest that you go back to your laser clinic and discuss the best way forward for you. Q. A. I’m afraid your email address didn’t come through with the enquiry. However, what I can say is that there are a couple of ways of treating acne scars – one is with Dermaroller at £200 and one is with laser resurfacing at £1000. Dermaroller is done by Fiona, my nurse, and laser treatment is performed by Amanda, my laser specialist.
