Q. I suffer from furrowed lines above my eyes on my brow and although I have been offer Botox to get rid of the lines im looking for something that can give me a more permanent solution. Id like to hear nmore about brow lift and face lifts and which may be the best way forward for me. Is there a massive difference in costs and recovery times between the 2 surgeries?
A. Thank you for your enquiry.A brow lift reduces the frown between the brows and is permanent although you will still have expression in the area.It can be done under a local anaesthesia and sedation. Small cuts are made in the hairline and the brows are lighty elevated. The recovery time is 2 to 3 weeks.A face lift does not address the brows but the cheeks and jowl area only. It can be combined with a brow lift and can be done under general or local anaesthesia. Recovery for a MACS type midi face lift is about 3 weeks. The cost for a brow lift is £2900 and a MACS face lift £4045 if done seperately. Combined the cost is £5905.If you wish to arrange a consultation please phone Christine 01977664258 or Lisa 01133882193RegardsLeRoux Fouriewww.lerouxfourie.co.uk
