Hi Doctor i had a pocedure done by your self at the selston clinic in nottingham. i just wanted to ask? i had 2000 hair input each side of my temple and was advised by yourself it will be enough to have the density as my normal hair. i had the surgery in jan 2011. now that the hairis growing the density is not quite in what was promised. i do want to pay a visit so that you may examine. what will be the way forward, and is there anything you can do to actually bring the density of my hair?? thanks hope to hear from you soon

Q. Hi, Dr Raghu, I am very interested to see that you do FUE involving acell. I wasn’t aware this was available at all. Could you tell me what the initial costs would be for about 2 inches at the front? I have previously had a hair transplant. Does this mean that donor hair will be unlimited as reports suggest? A. Dear Sir, the cost of a hair transplant varies depending on the number of hair to be transplanted. An average procedure price is around £7-8,000. You would need an in-depth consultation to check whether you are suitable, to assess the quality fo the donor hair following your previous surgery and the amount of hair you would need to achieve your desired results. I regularly perform treatments on patients who had previous surgery and if you have enough hair in the donor area, very good results can still be achieved.

Q. Hi there, I am a 19 year old male with a relatively large forehead. I am not balding/am not particularly worried about this in the near future. It strikes me that it would look much better if my hairline were about 1cm lower. What kind of steps could be taken to move the hairline down/make the forehead look smaller? Would, for example a brow lift be an option? I wouldn’t be too keen about the idea of a hair transplant as in 30/40/50 years (my family has relatively good hair genes I think) it would look unnatural.Please advise.
