There are however available elsewhere and I would suggest that it might be sensible for you to look around for a Maxillo-facial Surgeon in your local region, as this surgeon tends to specialize this regions. Q. I have been thinking about having a chin reduction done as I really don’t like it’s very prominent, How old do you have to be for this surgery. Also what is the estimated price for this type of surgery? Thanks.
A. Thank you for your enquiry.Generally it best to wait until your teeth have finished growing before you consider chin reduction. This is normally at the age of 16 and above.If you are considering this form of surgery it is best to discuss this with a specialist Maxillo-Facial Surgeon as he may need to take X-rays of your teeth to look at the position of their roots.
