Q. Will microdermabrasion help the acne on my face. I get really bad break outs every couple of months and have been for about the last 3 years. Pkease can you offer me some advice.
A. microdermabrasion probably won’t help much with acne – to treat active acne you’re best off seeing a GP or a dermatologist to assess things in more detail. Sometimes light therapy can help kill the bacteria that cause acne, and we can help with that therapy at La Belle Forme. However, active acne can be a difficult problem to treat, I’m afraid

Q. I suffer from spots and have scarring on my face although it isnt really bad. i have tried microdermabrasion and wasnt that impresses with the results. how much are your chemical peels?
A. hi there How old are you and have you had antibiotics before? You are suitable for a variety of treatments including threeFix and chemical peels. . You might also be suitable for dermaroller treatments too. Our Procedure Precision Chemical Peels are tailored to the patient so will vary depending on the skin problem. For acneic skin, betahydroxy acids are best but combinations with alphahydroxy acids might also serve you in good stead. Q. I would like prices for the Microdermabrasion treatment. I live in the north West of England and would rather not travel to far for treatment so Yorkshire would be fine. Please get back to me.
A. I do not do Microdermabrasion. This is usually done by Beauticians. I have found Dermaroller gives better results . The Dermaroller treatment costs £400 for first treatment and consultation, £180 for the Home Care Kit and £300 for subsequent treatments. Q. Can lasers be used in the treatment of dark under-eye shadows due to holls and thin skin? Would microdermabrasion be of any use? Thank you
A. Thank you very much for your enquiry regarding dark marks under your eyes. This dark marks occurred by pigment within the skin and unfortunately I do not think either laser therapy or microdermabrasion will work for you. There are lots of topical creams which can help and I suggest that you have a look at our shop on the http://aurora-clinics.com.uk website. This has a particular creams which target the pigment beneath the eyes which I think you’ll find most helpful and probably most sensible thing to use in the first incidence. Q. hi, im really wanting to have microdermabrasion on my face. Im wanting it for scars left over from acne a couple of years ago but the main reason i want it is for uneven skin tone and patchy skin. One problem is i still have very mild acne on my chin and neck. Its not bad at all and its just inflammation, i very rarely get spots only if i eat something really sugary and maybe something with alot of fat in, im pretty sure chocolate gives me spots. Ive read on certain websites microdermabrasion can be performed on acne and it is very effective. Do you think this treatment would be good for me? thank you
