Q. I have a long, wide, 10 year old scar from a knee surgery and would like to know if there is a non surgical skin treatment that is the best in making it less noticeable?
A. Hi there. We can often make a scar better, but it’s impossible to completely remove a scar. We have a number of treatment options depending on the exact shape of the scar including surgery, laser, dermaroller, creams, micropigmentation, etc. Please do come in for a consultation with me and I can let you know what would be best for you

Q. I have a tattoo that has undergone previous laser treatment which has left de pigmentation and scarring would it be possible to have the remains removed by surgical excision,if so what are the likely costs?
A. you can have several options – you can get micropigmentation to blend the remains of the tattoo, you can get excision (either in one go or by a technique called serial excision) or you can get it removed and skin grafted. Your options are best discussed with me at a consultation so if you want to call 01415520828 we can talk about this and I can look at your tattoo remnants

Q. I have a small scar on the right side of my chin from falling off a swing in India at the age of seven, When the wound was stitched it was not stitched correctly, as a result it has left a large scar which I would like to have treated. Can you advise how this could be done?
A. Hi there. We have a lot of treatments available for scars including surgery, lasers, micropigmentation, dermarollers, creams, injections and so on. What’s best for you depends on the exact appearance of the scar, and you should see a plastic surgeon for an opinion as to what can be done. Thereafter you can consider your options and perhaps have treatment if you are willing to accept the limitations of scar improvement treatments

Q. Im 26/F from India, working in Theale. I have stitch mark of 2 inches on my cheek which looks very obvious as i m fair complexioned. Can you help me?
A. there are a few options that we have for changing a scar – we can’t take a scar away completely, but we can improve them. How we do it depends on what the scar looks like - we can do surgery, dermaroller, micropigmentation, laser, etc.

Q. I would like to know about Dermabrasion. I have a few scars (nothing big) on my knee and want to be able to show my legs but i am very concious and for the moment prefered not to. Also i would like to enlarge my bottom (not big) but just so it is noticable rounded shape. Can these be done at same time?
A. Hi there. For scar improvement sometimes we recommend a dermaroller, surgery, or micropigmentation. It all depends on what your scar looks like so please do come and have a consultation with me or my nurse at my clinic and we can have a look at your scar to see if we can make it better. I don’t do buttock enlargement I’m afraid, because of the complications associated with it

Q. I am 34-year old man who has lost 12 stone. I had a gastric band fitted and as expected I have extra skin. However I had not expected to have so much extra on my chest. I look like I have been breast-feeding fro 10 years or so. Can this skin be removed, and where would the scars be positioned?
A. congratulations on losing all the extra weight. Excess skin can be a real problem after massive weight loss, and the idea behind body contouring surgery following weight loss is to improve your silhouette. The scars are often around the nipple, going downwards from the nipple to the “breast crease” and thereafter along the breast crease. The scars can be treated after around 6-12 months with micropigmentation to improve their appearances, but I’m afraid you have to have scars after body contouring surgery.

Q. I have burn SCAR on my hand and i wld like to get rid of this..it has to look like a normal skin..can u help me out this..please tel me about your charges and how many days it will take.
A. We can change scars but sometimes we cannot remove the scars completely. There are various ways of changing scars but you probably have to accept that it will never look like normal skin. The options include further surgery, more skin grafts but with Integra under the grafts, micropigmentation and camouflage techniques. My charges are on line at http://www.labelleforme.co.uk/cosmetic_surgery_prices.html and the consultation fees are there too

Q. I have very large nipples in comparison to my breast and would like to know costs of making them smaller and what the risk of nipple sensation loss?
A. We can certainly make nipples smaller and because it is only something that I do from time to time, I have to ask the hospital to come up with a quote. I would have to see you first and ask the hospital. The risk of nipple sensation loss is low, but the risk of the areolar becoming large again is quite high, so I tend to make the areolae quite small at the end of the operation. After all the scarring has settled after several months, if you feel the areolas are too small, then it’s easier to make them larger with things like micropigmentation. You should tell your surgeon what size you would like them to be at the consultation and he can tell you what the chances are of making them that size
