Q. I used to have acne, but it has cleared i am now left with acne scars all over my face. Q. I have two smallish black-ink tattoos on my back and arm, which have already been partially removed following non-laser treatment. I would like dermabrasion or excision to remove them completely – which would be the cheaper and which would cause the least scarring? Many thanks.

Q. Could I please ask your thoughts on the use of silicone sheeting to help reduce scars after a lift. Also how long you should wait before using them post surgery?

A. Thank you for your email. Silicone sheets are recognised for maturation of scar.I only use it if there is a suggestion of thickening of the scar. I advise silicone sheets till the scars are matured. It takes approximately 6 months to 18 months to get the scars soft and supple. If there is no suggestion of thickening of the scar then I advise my patients to massage and moisturise the scar with E 45 or Nivea type of moisturising cream. Q. Hi, I have permanently inverted nipples which are not able to become fully erect and never have. one does very rarely come out but doesnt stay. could i ask you how much a prodedure to fix this would cost? thanks.
