Q. I am 17 in 6 weeks time and have an enlarged labia to the extent that I find it uncomfortable to use tampons and am not sexually active yet as I feel extremely embarrassed. I can only wear certain underwear and just do not feel happy. I have seen 2 specialists who have said that I need counselling and have said they will not perform the operation. Q. Could you tell me what type of cheek implant surgery you do? Do you do cheek implant injections using Sculptra?

A. Thank you for your inquiry. I tend to do cheek augmentation surgery using Medpor implants, or alternatively fat transfer or hyaluronic acid [Restylane SubQ] as filling agents. Q. I would love to have some advice on chubby cheek reduction but need to be reassured that the procedure will be performed by someone very experienced.

A. Thank you for your enquiry. For a facial sculpting, my approach is usually to organise for the patients to have 3-D photography so that we can establish during the consultation what is the target of change. Depending on the starting point and the amount of contouring required, liposuction, buccal fat reduction and chin augmentation may need to be combined to achieve a more sculpted appearance of the face.
