Im looking to have my ears corrected and also ear lobe reduction, however i must point out that i had octoplasty surgery 5yrs ago and was not happy with the final results as 1 of my ears still protrudes. Therefore i was wondering if its possible to have the same operation again and if there would be any complications?

Q. The tips of my ears stick out a bit and is quite noticeable and it annoys me every time i look in the mirror and wanted to know how much would a procedure cost to pin them back and is there a long waiting list?

Q. I would like to find out more about ear surgery. I have one ear that sticks out. I would like to get just the one ear pinned back. is this possible? and how much would it cost for one ear? i am 19 years old. if you could give me some sort of guide that would be great. and how long is the waiting list?

A. Thank you for your inquiry. Yes indeed, it is possible to correct and  improve the symmetry in the context of unilateral prominent ear. However, you need to be aware that the level of symmetry achievable is moderate, since the ears are set at different heights on the head, have different size and different rotation. The procedure usually takes place under a local anesthetic, which allows for control of the symmetry toward the end of the procedure. The costs are usually in the area of £2000.

Q. Is it possible for an average quote for an otoplasty. Though not technically needing one (my ears arent very protruding though they are enough to make a difference to me.) Q. Hi, i had an otoplasty about 8 months ago on my prominent ears. The results were ok however the top half on both ears still sticks out quick a lot making an unnatural look. Is this normal and if not do you offering correction surgery? How much would it cost and where is your hospital?

A. If the top part of the ear sticks out significantly can lead to the central part, it would be worthwhile reshaping it for a more balanced appearance.  To begin with, I suggest that you discuss your concerns with your surgeon.Overall, a revision procedure would cost more or less the same as a primary operation when performed by someone else, and in my case the fee would be between £2000 and £2500 depending on the local anaesthetic facility or hospital used.I would be happy to see me in consultation and discuss your concerns as well as highlight what is feasible from the surgical prospective.
