Q. I have black moles on my face i would like to know 1) can they be removed without any scar or other damage 2) possible side effects 3)how much would it cost i look forward from your response thank you.
A. Hi there. We can’t remove moles without giving you scars but we can do our best to minimise the scarring and there are various plastic surgery principles that we use to ensure this. You have a few options too, and we usually remove up to 3 at a time. I am afraid I cannot give assistance in this matter, but as far as I know in Birmingham area there is a plastic surgery Aesthetic Fellowship for senior trainees in plastic surgery, which to my understanding is a hands-on training. This may be an option to have the surgery carried out by a senior trainee at a discounted rate. Perhaps the best approach would be to contact some of the surgeons in the Midlands and see if you can find out more about this.
