Q. I would like to have liposuction on my outer and inner thighs. There are 2 reasons I woukld like this done, firstly to shift some stubborn areas of fat and partly to shift the appearance of cellulite.

Q. I have suffered from minor gynaecomastia since puberty (I am now 27). Q. I wish to remove a few inches of fat from side of my waist and around to my back. Probably about four inches high and an inch or two deep and also possibly side of chest under armpit depending on prices for all these areas.

Q. Hi im just asking to make sure that i am suitable for liposuction, i have the money saved up, im fit i work out, but do enjoy food and im around 12 pounds over my ideal weight, so still normal weight, however i do have a problem area around my stomach that even when i was at my ideal weight which is normally maintained i cant seem to get rid of it, even of i do crunches sit ups etc… its around my stomach area. the rest of me is fine. i dont no if you can answer my questions

A. Thank you for your inquiry.   Your concern is relatively common. The value of liposuction is to improve the balance of distribution on the fatty tissue around the body for a more aesthetically pleasing contour.   Used to this purpose, liposuction can provide very nice improvements, but obviously does not represent a pool for weight control.   From what you are describing, liposuction would be a suitable treatment, and I would probably favor the radiofrequency assisted approach (Bodytite), because it has the ability to also generate some tightening in the treatment areas.   Inevitably, you would need to have a formal consultation in order to validate the points covered above, but also to understand in more detail the process related to this type of treatment, the recovery period and the risks related to surgery.
