A. Thanks. I must say that it is unusual for splits in the labia minora to cause unsatisfactory sex. You need to look into problems related to vaginal relaxation. However your labia minora can be trimmed or repaired if it causes you distress or distractions during sex.

Q. Mr Danels I wonder if you can answer a question for me. Could you please tell me the difference between a perineoplasty and vaginoplasty?
A. Thanks. Perineoplasty is the cosmetic operation done on the perineum, which is the area where episiotomy is applied during childbirth, and it corresponds to the area between the vaginal entrance and the anal orifice. It is usually done to improve the appearance of this area from previous scarring or disfigurement due to childbirth. Some surgeons are offering this alone as vagina tightening surgery. This often give the vagina tightening surgery a bad name, as it mostly does not address the needs of patients with vaginal relaxation as opposed to perieal scarring or vaginal gaping.While it is true that the lower quarter length of the vagina can be tightening through this means (perineoplasty), it is not quite exactly the same as vaginoplasty or vaginal tightening (reduction vaginoplasty) which really should involve tightening a good internal length – front and /or back wall of the vagina.
