Q. Hi, You said you answered my question but the link you supplied did not work, it just read “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.” when I clicked on it. Please could you post the answer again, or write it to me in an email? My question was: “Please could you tell me if a common bump would ever have to be removed from one’s nose for a medical reason – rather than a cosmetic reason? If so, please could you explain what an example of the risk of having a bump would be? Or say someone broke there nose and a bump appeared that was not there before – would there ever be a reason to have it removed, apart from to change it’s appearance? Or in your experience have people only had bumps removed from their noses strictly to change the way they look, because they didn’t like having the bump? Please share you knowledge if you can, it would be really helpful!” Thanks, Kim
A. Dear Kim. A bump on the nose may be removed after an injury to the nose or if the bump is a family nose shape which does not suite your face. Each nose is unique to the face so it is important to look at how the nose fits with the rest of the face. Everything from overall facial proportions to ethnic variations of the nose.Hope that this helps.Best regards
