‘Bridesmaid’s Bulge’ is Targeted in a New Plastic Operation

Filed under: Female Cosmetic Surgery — Tags: armpits, Bidesmaid bulge, cosmetic surgery, naturally dissolves, Vaser Liposuction, women — admin @ 7:47 pm

Experts have reported that British women have discovered one more body part that reportedly needs cosmetic surgery.

Patients have requested to surgically remove an unwanted piece of tissue that occurs below armpits, said Dr Paul Cronin, who works at the mind, body and facial rejuvenation centre Eternal Youth. “Technically, it’s the anterior anxillary fat pad, but I think the ‘bridesmaid’s bulge’ is more catchy – it has certainly caught on here,” he noted.

“We have all seen those wedding photos when the older bridesmaids are forced to wear unflattering strapless dresses. That’s when you notice these folds of flab sticking out at the sides, below their armpits. That’s the bridesmaid’s bulge.”

Dr Cronin, who works in an Alderley Edge based clinic, has revealed that patients have been requesting treatments that break down the fat under the skin and makes it naturally dissolve in the body, such as the new Vaser Liposelection, in order to fight this cosmetic problem.
