Liposuction is getting increasingly popular among male patients
Czech plastic surgery industry has reported that men are more interested in improving their body shape by liposuction than women. The new research claims that the popularity of body sculpting procedures and surgical fat removal is experiencing a steady growth among men.
The research found out that just under three quarters of Czech surgeons claim liposuction is one of the most demanded plastic surgery procedure among men, next to eyelid and nose treatments.
There are a few different types of the popular procedure: tumescent, ultrasound and fluid injection liposuction.
John Schneider, the 47-year-old Dukes of Hazzard star, admitted to having had liposuction performed to get rid of undesirable fat from his stomach that couldn’t be shed by exercising.
“I went the liposuction route a couple years ago. I did 1,000 sit-ups and nothing was happening,” he revealed to Extra magazine last year.
Another surgical procedure increasingly requested by men around the globe is male breast reduction.
