Increasing Popularity of Non Surgical Treatments

Demand for less invasive anti ageing and facial rejuvenation procedures soars.

Research conducted by a US-based skincare expert has revealed more and more people choose alternative methods to defy ageing problems over procedures involving surgical intervention.

Dermatologist Howard Brooks has told WUSA9.com that Botox injections were still popular among people looking for ways to fight wrinkles.

The doctor from Washington said: “Studies show that while there is a decrease in surgical procedures such as face lifts, non-surgical treatments are on the rise.” He also claimed that Botox injections were very popular, because they effectively decrease the wrinkles and lines which start showing on the face with older age.

Ladonna Curzon, a mother who is trying to find a job after staying at home with children, was also interviewed by WUSA9.com. Ms Curzon claimed that she was convinced Botox injections would massively increase her chances to find work.

Many celebrities admit having used Botox injections as a way to look younger, including Simon Cowell from X Factor.
