Vaginal Rejuvenation Guide For Women
Most vaginal rejuvenation surgeries are done for medical reasons. However, there are benefits that can improve a womens sex life as well. Many women want to enhance their genital areas and increase sexual stimulation. There are numerous options with these procedures and reasons to have them done.
Child birth is one reason many women look to vaginal rejuvenation. Many have incontinence, which means urinating whenever coughing, laughing, sneezing or similar activities take place. Vaginal rejuvenation tightens the muscles that allow this to occur. Child birth also stretch and deforms this area. There are two types of procedures for vaginal rejuvenation, which are labiaplasty and vaginoplasty.
Labiaplasty consists of a doctor having to reshape the lips of the vagina. The reshaping can improve how the vagina looks and eshaping can improve how the vagina looks. This procedure can be done on women who have large labia and there is pain and discomfort from the size. Small pieces of the inner genital lips are removed, as well as the outer lips.

Vaginoplasty is when a doctor uses a larger or surgical procedure to tighten the muscles that are inside the vagina. The muscles are moved and tightened, which results in tighter vaginal walls and more control over contractions and muscles. Usually done as an out patient procedure, some cases do require that a woman stay over night. Insurance may cover this type of procedure when connected to incontinence.
Although this are the two most common procedures, there are other procedures done to correct vaginal problems.
Hymenoplasty, other wise known as revirginization, is when the hymen is reconnected to the vagina. This can be done to make a vagina look younger or for religious purposes.
Hoodectomies are when the g-spot of a women is increased. This procedure requires removing the hood of the clitoris or reducing it greatly. The clitoris is then completely exposed and collagen is injected into the g-spot as well. Sexual satisfaction is increased but only for 3 months. The procedure must be done again and again.
Patients must talk with a doctor first before any of these procedures. Also, the surgeries can range in price from $6,000 to $10,000 each. Furthermore, insurance does not cover many of these procedures unless there is a medical reason for them.
Though women can still have children after having any of these procedures, having a C-section is recommended so that there is not more vaginal tearing and scarring.
