Cosmetic Surgery India

Globalisation and the proliferation of cheap flights have meant that destinations which, at one time, would have been unthinkable for health tourism are now much more accessible. One such country which has benefited from this is India.  It might not be the first country which you think of but it can offer you a much cheaper alternative, but you must ensure you are choosing a completely safe and reputable company.

Over 10,000 British people travel to India every year as medical tourists, taking advantage or short to non-existent waiting lists and the opportunity to combine their procedure with a once in a lifetime holiday.

You could pay around £6-7 thousand if you wanted a tummy tuck in the U.K but, almost unbelievably, you could get one in India for around £1-2 thousand, with a holiday package thrown in as well! Deals such as this should be approached with caution however and you should always research the establishment which you want to go to thoroughly before embarking o n travelling half way around the world. How big a barrier that language or indeed local customs should also be considered.

Flights to India, whilst a lot cheaper than they used to be, are still long-haul and thus you will not be able to fly home for at least a couple of weeks if you are undergoing major treatment.  The costs of your trap need to factored in; a hospital may only be able to put you up for a few days after the operation and thus you would have to put yourself up in a hotel for the rest of your recuperation; this could be both costly and less comfortable than stopping in a private clinic.

If you do decide that India is the best place for your transformation then you should begin your research immediately into the hospitals, such as the Apollo group, which may be open to you.

You must consider hygiene and cleanliness in the upmost when you are making your decisions and also make sure you choose a clinic which has follow-up consults and appointments available in the U.K.  India may well seem like the holiday of a lifetime but, are you really prepared to undergo dramatic physical changes so far from your friends, family and home comforts?
